Received a pack of this with my latest order, through Adi’s amazing generosity. It is…stunning. There are no words, truly. It has the intense, sweet/sour scent of saffron, tempered by the softness of the musk. Out of the box, the scent is almost off-putting in it’s strangeness. Once lit, however, the oils mix together in a magnificent way. At first, you get soft, floral notes deepening to a musky, almost dark, scent. If such a comparison can be made, this is almost like Cambodian Masterclass. It has the same sharp tang, followed by a mellow sweetness, melting toward a beautiful combination of what I can only describe as the incense version of sweet and spicy! I burned this in a small room, and it DID seem like it might cause a headache, but no such thing happened. It got more beautiful the more it burned, and the small room allowed me to get all the scent and appreciate each note. This is a masterpiece!

For anyone who is found of strong, mystic and interesting blends this is for you! I’m a lover of anything ‘heady’ and this is done beautifully, it lingers and makes the house smell of it hours after it’s gone out. One stick lasts me three goes and it’s just the most perfect insence for the time of year. If you’re often disheartend by scents which fall flat or feel one dimensional get this! Not an everyday scent but one to enhance the mood of cold, wet days absolutely perfectly. Thank you!

That Vintage Saffron and Musk is only less than 200gms left. Its the strongest incense we ever made, very heavy. Its got all the indian vibe to it and is full of mystical notes. Glad you like it! Not sure when we will get it again! Thanks CLem!
