A lovely, relaxing incense. Night Queen seems, at first, like it might be overwhelming or strong, but it’s definitely not. It’s soft and floral, with an almost jungle-heat scent to it. It was underwhelming when first lit, especially after hearing so many good things about it. I laid down and started reading, letting the scent wash over me. It felt like being transported to a garden full of flowers and blooming trees. I became so relaxed and sleepy, and suddenly fell in love with Night Queen. This isn’t a stick for bright mornings, in my opinion. This is a stick for lazy days, relaxation, and sleepy nights. She’s called Night Queen for a reason! She shows her true power and beauty when sleep beckons.
The stick itself is a lovely pitch black with a small amount of crystals dotting it and a dark purple bamboo stick. The black part is surprisingly thick and each stick has soft black powder on the outside. These seem to have been rolled in powder in addition to having the beautiful oils added. Lovely sticks, all the way! I see why this is one of Adi’s permanent residents!
