The positivity that incense brings

Incense has been around for centuries, and many different civilizations have used it for religious purposes and to make any place a more pleasant ambience. But, as we move forward, the role of incense became more of providing peace and harmony to people.

What are incenses made of?

Mostly, incense is made of naturally fragrant ingredients like classic Vrindavan Champa, classic sandalwood, and Lavender. The aromatic ingredients are then bound with combustible material so that it keeps burning and giving a soothing smell. Some common ingredients used to make incense are:
  • Cinnamon
  • Vrindavan flower
  • Patchouli
  • Musk
  • Sandalwood
  • Lavender
  • Rose
  • Jasmine, etc.

How to burn it?

For burning incense, you have to ignite it and not set it on fire slightly. For lighting it, you can use a lighter or a match stick. Once you light it, extinguish the fire on the tip of the Vrindavan flower incense and put it in its holder in an open space so it may spread the scent all over the place.
