I was in a wealthy quarter of New Delhi back on a beautiful February day when I happened upon a lavish incense shop, the like of which I had never encountered. With gusto I asked them for the best and most expensive incense they sold and left with a bag of several gorgeously packaged incense boxes. I will now report that not one of them (all made in Bangalore) came close to Pure Incense. They had strength and some half good oil; but the overall scent was marred by nasty base tones that were just not cutting the biscuit.
