incense is made by the Renowned Haridasmadhava family who have been
making incense for over 200 years. Retaining the same non-commercial
traditional manufacturing methods the Madhava family supply incense
for the largest Temple in their town.
In making their
incense they first of select pure oils from a reliable source. Pure
oils are rare to find as there are many cheaters ready to make a quick
buck, but they insist on "temple grade" materials. (For example 1 kilo
of pure sandalwood costs around $2,000. Rare oil like Agarwood which
is a more rare resin than sandal can cost around $35,000 per kilo.)
The incense has a
special smooth mellow flavour because its base is the finest vanilla
powder, rather than masala powder spices, or worse still!
